cms-driven websites
Most of our websites are built on the industry-standard WordPress Content Management System CMS). That means that once they are launched, you can make changes and updates yourself via an easy-to-use admin section.
Our packages start from just £325 + VAT, including a free .co.uk domain name (if you need one), a year’s basic hosting and an email address of the format [email protected].
The actual price of your package will depend upon the number of different sections you need, and the level of performance. A section is defined as a different page layout – remember, once you have had your sections designed, you can add as many pages as you like using them yourself (within your storage limits).
Remember – all our packages come with a domain name, a year’s hosting, a Project Manager-led delivery team and unlimited changes until you’re completely happy.

What's the difference between a template site and a bespoke one?
Template sites are cheaper as they use a previously-designed structure/design which may be used by others. That means your website is not unique.
A bespoke website is one which has been created just for you. This obviously costs more, but you can be sure it’s completely unique and can be created to meet your exact specifications (within the limits of the CMS).
As template sites have to cater for many different applications, they tend to be top-heavy with coding and hence tend to run slower and are unlikely to achieve good search engine listings. To achieve better search engine listings is it often necessary to operate pay-per-click Google advertising.
When making the decision, you need to consider whether you primarily want your website to find new customers for you (in which case search engine listsings are important) or if you are going to direct offline enquiries to find out more by going online (i.e. giving them your web address), your budget, your timescales (bespoke takes longer) and your overall marketing and business goals.
What is a CMS?
Put simply, a CMS (Content Management System) allows you to add/edit content, including text, images, video etc. to your website yourself via an easy-to-use password-protected admin platform.
We use the industry-standard WordPress platform for which you can find loads of online video tutorials, help etc.
Need more functionality?
If you need something with more bespoke functionality such as a recruitment website, helpdesk, estate agency website or similar, our parent company, Real World Projects Limited will be able to help you with this more complex delivery.
Who populates the website once it's built? Can you help?
Once the website is built, we will hand it over to you (with instructions) for you to populate. As long as you have all the content ready for us by the designated time, we’ll be able to help you with this, but we always suggest that the customer does some of this populating themselves because, after-all, the whole point of having a CMS-driven website is so you can update it yourself in the future, so you need to know how to do it.
If you find that you do not have time to do any of this task yourself, we can provide an admin service as an add-on where your site is relatively small. Your Project Manager will discuss this optional additional service with you at the time.
If you have your content but need help in wording it in an appropriate way for your online audience, we can provide an optional copywriting service.
What happens if I need help in the future?
With a CMS-driven website, you can add additional pages yourself, change contents, add new images etc. but we appreciate that some customers just do not have the time to do this and that sometimes there is a need for some new design, layout changes etc.
Some of our packages include or Z-Maintain package, or you can add this to your order an add-on. This package gives you a number of hours of additional development time per month to use on a call-off basis. If you need just a little reassurance/help instead, our lighter Z-Assist package might suit you better. Again, this is included in some packages or can be added as an add-on.

The price of your website will depend upon the number of sections, the speed/features of your hosting package, and a number of other factors, but to give an indication, the following table gives pricing for 4 typical scenerios.

- A brochure-style website presence all on one templated page (choose from over 50), economy hosting for a year and a free .co.uk domain name. Ideal for a start-up needing a quick turnaround. Extra sections/pages can be added for a small additional price if needed.
Small Business
- A bespoke CMS-driven website with up to 4 separate sections into which you can create as many pages as you want, plus economy hosting for a year and a free domain name. Ideal for SMEs.
Larger Business
- Bespoke design providing up to 6 sections with unlimited pages, business standard hosting for a year, a free domain name, integration with your social media accounts, and our Z-Assist support which supports you in the uploading of content, future changes, etc. Great for the growing business.
Enterprise
- Bespoke design providing up to 8 sections with unlimited pages, business plus hosting for a year, enhanced support, enhanced SEO design, a free domain name, integration with your social media accounts, our Z-Assist support which supports you in the uploading of content, future changes, etc. and Z-Maintain support which includes a couple of days of development per month for future add-ons.
